As a printmaker my normal working methods involve producing many preliminary drawings, before commencing the 'plate-making' process. This time I have taken the drawings further and introduced coloured washes. I am very pleased with the results especially the loose and spontaneous feel, something I try to achieve with many of my etchings.

Attracted to the composition of the figure going about her morning routine. Irregular features and details of the shower compliment the stylised figure.
