Stylised study of a girl 'posing' for the camera.
Sketched directly onto a copper plate with a brush and sugar-lift solution. Then acid etched using tradition intaglio techniques.
Attracted to the composition of the figure lying on her side. A recurring pose in my work.
Flowing lines contrast well against the aquatinted background.
Especially pleased with the finished image showing the model's striking pose. Subject matter used again for other works.
