I like to experiment with different drawing media to try and achieve a particular look or feel. Recently I have introduced more background textures to help compliment some of the strong graphic lines. Other images work equally as well with just a few simple lines, less is more.
Each print is individually hand made by myself, works are presented against dark backgrounds to show deckle edge of the papers.

Sketched directly onto a prepared copper plate with a crayon, then acid etched using traditional intaglio techniques.
Made many preliminary drawings before starting the plate making process.
Especially pleased with the finished work showing the loose and continuous lines, classical looking face was unintentional but very welcome.
