I like to experiment with different drawing media to try and achieve a particular look or feel. Recently I have introduced more background textures to help compliment some of the strong graphic lines. Other images work equally as well with just a few simple lines, less is more.
Each print is individually hand made by myself, works are presented against dark backgrounds to show deckle edge of the papers.

Sketched directly onto a copper plate with a brush and sugar-lift solution, then acid etched using traditional intaglio techniques.
Flowing lines help to exaggerate the model's proportions.
Especially pleased with the finished work showing Bella's pretty face and cheeky smile.
