As outlined in my Artist's Statement, I have always enjoyed the activity of drawing, these sketches form the starting point for many of my completed etchings and paintings. I am extremely pleased with this collection reminding me of my original thoughts and inspirations.

Sketched from the kitchen window showing an unusual visitor to my parent's garden in Redditch, Worcestershire. A real surprise to see a male Mallard Duck, especially as the garden is small with no obvious water attraction such as a pond. He and Mrs Duck have made several visits, this time I grabbed my sketchbook!
